Finding success with Pushing Boundaries

Mar 24, 2021

For Puget Sound area residents living with paralysis, brain injuries and neurological disorders, Redmond nonprofit Pushing Boundaries is a life line to improved health and mobility through physical rehab therapies. We’re proud to have our first placement with their great team, Companis Worker Zheng Zhou, serving as an administrative assistant.

Zheng, who is a native of Beijing, China, reached out to Companis through a referral from the Master of Nonprofit Leadership at Seattle University. He is our seventh MNPL student or graduate in recent years to enhance their nonprofit education through an exciting Companis placement. Zheng brings a keen interest to his post along with him: an educational background in human physiology. The placement offers a great mix of interests for him as he pursues a career in nonprofit management and leadership.

We celebrate Pushing Boundaries’ 16 years of service this month, and celebrate their ability to welcome their clients back to their facility, with CDC and state guidelines for Covid in place. Welcome Zheng, and congratulations to Pushing Boundaries!
