Individual donations fuel our work and make it possible. They are the single-largest source of contributions to Companis. That’s why community-wide philanthropy events, such as GiveBIG, are so important to meeting the demand for our services. Because of our donors’ support last year, Companis Workers directly served more of our neighbors than ever before in their placement roles: 28,329 clients at 39 King and Snohomish County nonprofit partners. These vital agencies turn to Companis when they face staffing gaps or need to grow their programs because of rapidly increasing demand. That’s the hallmark of the pandemic for so many of our human service nonprofit partners. To encourage your timely gift, the Companis Board of Directors will match the first $5k in donations.

Food security agencies, emergency assistance programs and case management programs for our neighbors facing unprecedented challenges brought on by the pandemic (and even before the pandemic), rely on us for low-and-no-cost skilled professional assistance, whether it be for calendar year or the length of a project. And, what makes Companis different is our approach to supporting our placed Workers, with professional development events, 1×1 and group support meetings, BIPOC-focused offerings, and cultural opportunities that create community among our placements.
