We are excited to welcome Jennifer Wing as Companis’ Associate Executive Director – Programs. She is taking over Karen’s duties in connecting skilled Companis volunteer professionals with partner nonprofits. Jennifer had a long and successful career in public radio. She was an award-winning host, reporter, and producer. She also helped launch the podcast Transmission about the pandemic in the Pacific Northwest. Her stories, which are known for their heart and person-centered narratives, have aired on National Public Radio, Marketplace, and the BBC.
We also welcome Erin Hennessey as Companis’ Communications Manager. Erin’s background is in journalism with over 30 years in public radio where she served as a reporter, editor, host, and News Director. Most recently, she focused on producing virtual events – an experience that is serving us well as we begin production on Companis’s virtual Biennial 2021 event.
