Companis during Covid: where compassion meets action

Dec 1, 2020

Companis Workers are on the pandemic ‘front lines’ serving our neighbors facing tough times. Placements with partner agencies that offer food security, health services and housing stabilization services make a difference every day of the week. They’re serving our neighbors from South Snohomish County to South King County who are reaching for assistance, and finding it.

This short video, created for our Giving Tuesday campaign, features Companis Executive Director Gary Davis, and Companis Worker Oliver Kogod, who serves the Tukwila Pantry food bank, and shows an example of the vital roles Companis Workers serve in strengthening nonprofits and their programs while making the important connection: Compassionately serving our neighbors with essential services.

Your donations on Giving Tuesday and throughout December will help us meet a $20k challenge match from a generous donor couple. Our single largest source of support is individual contributions, at any amount that’s right for you. Learn more about the challenge match here. And make your donation now at our secure giving form.

Reach out to us at 206-328-6155 if you have a question about Giving Tuesday/year-end giving. We’d love to talk with you.
